Welcome To Our Dream Home
First of all, a quick insight into our project and what we are trying to achieve. This is a quick snapshot of what you to can achieve building your own home.
What we have now:
A 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living kitchen and laundry home, almost 90m2 home with a brick sub floor and fibro cladding.
What we plan to turn our old home into:
Our dream renovation will extend our current 2 bedroom home into a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, entertainers dream home. Therefore, turning our old 90m2 home into hopefully a beautiful 250m2 home excluding outdoor living areas. Above all, turning it into a family friendly forever home.
What we learnt building your own home
The whole process has been daunting and tiring. But! We would not change it for the world, ever! Building your own home gives you a good sense of achievement.
At each stage, you step back to look at your efforts so far. A sense of excitement will come over you with what’s still to come, and the final outcome.
